A Pug Adventure Or How We Nearly Killed Sylvia

Went on a pug adventure with the girlfriend, Deb.  Took Sylvia and Sadie and a nice picnic lunch to Elephant Rocks State Park, down in Ironton, Missouri.  About a 90 minute drive to get there, which was great on Sunday, since the weather was so nice.  And Sylvia loves to be in the car, sooooo….

Great day, the park is beautiful…basically big granite boulders strewn about by the glaciers.   They look like elephants, hence the name.  Nice little pond surrounded by granite cliffs.  Hiking trails, etc.

Short story.  Pugs.  Brachycephalic.  Not able to breathe easily under the best of circumstances.  Mildly hot weather.  Lots of working.  Old pug.  Near death experience.  Here are some of the pics.
