I Write Like…

If you’re a writer, have you seen this site, iwl.me?

You go there, plug in a bit of your writing, it analyzes it and then tells you who you write like.

Interested and intrigued, I went in and plugged in the first chapter of the new novel I am working on.

It told me I wrote like James Joyce.  Ummm…I don’t know whether to be flattered or dismayed by this.  Being an English Lit major, I was forced (at academic gunpoint) to read Joyce.  Urgh.  That’s all I have to say.  Urgh.

A bit disheartened, I plugged in the text of the second chapter.  Ahhhh…Neil Gaiman.  Now that, I can live with.

So, world, I hope that you are ready for my James Joyce/Neil Gaiman mashup, when it’s ready!
